After a month I’m home…. Okay maybe not an actual month but the one week I was gone felt like a month. It was beautiful. It was a blessing.

So, first off I have never been on a plane until July 9th, 2021. And…… I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it. The ability for a big hunk of metal to get up above the clouds is such an incredible sign of God’s work. And to be able to see the earth from so high up is amazing.

Now we did a bunch of logistical stuff to try to prepare us for different scenarios that could possibly happen while we are on the race. If you’d like to know more about that just text me and I’ll tell you all about it, but I want you to know what God did. How He moved in BIG ways.

So, I was home. I felt like I knew my squad for years and we barely met this week. God gave me this overwhelming feeling of being EXACTLY where God needs me right now. I figured out why later in the week. One of the biggest things we spoke about was bringing the Kingdom of God down to us. If you want to know what the Kingdom of God is or feels like go to a training camp for 100 missionaries about to go share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

My squad was amazing and faithful people of God. I have never been to a place where people, who are my age, would just sit around and spend their time reading the Word. It was glorious worship to God everywhere we looked. I’ll share some about our teams, a bit about our routes, and some of our accomplishments this week.

To explain a bit we have our squad, which is 29 people, and this group gets split into teams of 4-6 people. My group is a group of four people. We have Claran, Michael, Natalie, and myself. (Pictures with us together will come in later blogs.) They are great warriors of God, and I am blessed to be able to serve God alongside them. Our team name is Bullseye. (I’ll also explain this in a later blog.)

Our first country will be…. ROMANIA We will be going here to get a little bit of training on how to minister to people in this area. All of this is tentative of course, but God’s will will be done indeed. We will learn some of the best way to share the Gospel with the Muslim community. God is so Great and Mighty and I am blessed to be able to be used by Him.

We survived seven nights in the Georgian wilderness. It poured down rain, it was humid as can be, and an adventure, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. We set our tents up, then proceeded to worship, study, and pray together. One of our biggest accomplishments throughout the week was to climb a mountain. It was beautiful, it was sweaty, but it was worth it. There is something about seeing God’s creation from the top that gives you a different love for it. The ability to pray for my team whilst atop this mountain was a gift that I thank God for.

Overall, I am pumped. I am excited to see what God has in store. I have 11 months with these crazy, loving, Godly men and women. We appreciate all of your prayers while we had camp, and continued prayers as we ask God where, and what He has for us to do this next year. The world isn’t ready for this beautiful light we will be taking to the dark places God leads us to.
